Macramé Workshops in Ireland

Have you utterly caught the macramé bug and feel ready to have a crack at learning the craft yourself?

Yeah, I hear ya. I host regular workshops around County Cork (and beyond) and honestly, it'd just make my day if you joined one.

This page is the place where you can find an up-to-date list of all my upcoming macramé workshops in Ireland. If you don't see any dates listed below, I don't currently have any upcoming public workshops -- but you can always organise a private one; keep reading to find out how.

Public Macramé Workshops in Ireland

My not-so-secret mission to convert everyone in the world to macramé addicts is well and truly underway, and to that end, I regularly host public macramé workshops around Co. Cork (and sometimes further afield) that anyone can join.

My workshops are always held in small groups (usually a maximum of 12 participants) which makes for a laidback learning setting and gives us all a chance to chat, get to know each other, and craft away with zero stress.

See the list at the bottom of the page to find out what public classes are currently on the roster.

Private Macramé Workshops in Ireland

Birthdays, girly days, mom & daughter activities, hen parties, baby showers -- you name it, I've got a bespoke macramé workshop package to go with it. You can book private workshops at your own home or for a special event. A minimum of 5 participants is required for this option.

We can host the event at a venue of your choosing -- I can come to your home or AirBnB, or I can organise a venue with one of my partners, options of which include gorgeous stately homes, tapas & wines bars, modern studio spaces overlooking the West Cork wilderness, and even local pubs (pints and crafts -- what's more to love?!).
To book a spot at an upcoming workshop or to enquire about a private macramé class, please send me your name and the details of which workshop you'd like to reserve a space at via the contact form.
If you're a venue owner that would like host a workshop at your place, feel free to get in touch and we can chat about the possibilities.

Upcoming Public Macramé Workshops:

Macramé Plant Hangers from Beach Treasure | MOYA Festival | May 5th - Ballybunion, Co. Kerry

How exciting to be a part of MOYA Festival in Ballybunion again in 2024. A gorgeous gathering spanning events around meditation, ocean, yoga, and art, the festival takes place across the May bank holiday weekend.

On Sunday the 5th from 2.30-4pm, we'll meet upstairs in the Ballybunion Community Centre to create some macramé magic. We'll use a blend of organic plant fibres and salvaged marine rope to knot up some colourful, unique, funky plant hangers for your home.

Beginners are welcome.

In keeping with the festival's ethos of accessibility, I'm delighted to be offering this workshop at just 30 euro per person. Book your space by contacting MOYA Ballybunion on Facebook or by calling Sarah, the event coordinator, on +353877837448.
